Try GoVelvet

I’ve spent the better part of my free time over the last few years working on a pretty elaborate multi-tenant e-commerce system, called GoVelvet. That is also my small company’s name :) I like it.

My multi-tenant system runs entirely under a single website yet has complete data separation between clients and supports custom domains. At first glance the store system may seem very simple. What makes it advanced is the theming and module system that supports it. When you select a theme for your store not only can the layout, colors, fonts etc change but the entire functionality can change too. This make is extremely powerful and easy to maintain custom code across store fronts. I’ve included two default themes, one gives you a complete blogging system. I’m using virtual path providers so all the custom code etc is in the database, kinda cool!

The system is completely free to use - I’m letting anyone create a free store with 100 products - after that I might need to charge people but I’m not sure. If I can generate enough income from the donations and ads (which are only in the admin area) then it will remain totally free. Give it a try now!
